Honestly, I'm sure this song is either one of the worst or one of the best songs I've ever written.

So as you should have come to expect by now, I can't stick to self imposed deadlines so this is kinda late but hey, we're halfway through this whole thing now. Just like Quiet, this song was also a pain to mix. Maybe I'm just not very good at mixing? Probably, who knows? Somewhere in the songwriting process around the time that I decided to glue two similar songs together to make this one I lost track of whether it was a good song or not. Still not really sure but I'm sure some of you guys will get a kick out of it somehow.

Decided to get kinda fancy with the album art too. I've been going for a more minimalist approach with these as you can probably tell by now. This is mostly due to me not knowing anybody who could draw me free album art and having a little bit of experience with photoshop but hey, I think they look pretty cool this way.

This is the third song of the 'bye bye horsie music' project. A little bit of a melancholy weird song with a key change. A sad song about Luna. It's about her being upset that ponies like Celestia more than her.

LYRICS:
Every day
I remember what it's like
To know you're second best
And that's what makes me feel like I don't belong

Cause she's
Perfect in every way
And at the end of the day
I am just another prelude to her song

I'm tired of being little sister
I want to be seen on my own
And for a thousand years I missed her
I've been a shadow for too long

In the night
I look up at all of the star
That nobody else would see
I make these beautiful patterns just for me

I'm tired of being little sister
I wanna be seen on my own
And for a thousand years I missed her
I've been a shadow for too long

And I never meant to eclipse her
I just wanted to be seen
And I tried not to be bitter
Cause I'm only around when they dream

The moon will rise before the sun
The day will come to an end
They'll see me for the first time
As they rise up from their beds

The moon will rise above the sun
The day will come to an end
They'll see me for the first time
As they rise up from their beds
