I DID IT! I MADE A THING AND I DIDN'T SCRAP IT HALFWAY THROUGH THIS TIME!

I am very excited to share with you my first finished project in over 9 months! A cover of one of my favorite brony songs, Sand Josieph's Carnival Cat vs. Ponyville.

Seriously you have no idea how relieving it is to come back after a nine month hiatus and actually finish something for once. Truth be told it's been a tricky couple months. After my last release (Beauty of a Setting Sun) kind of fell flat of what I had hoped that song would be, I ended up in kind of a crappy slump. I felt like nothing I was working on was any good and I had basically lost all confidence that anything I was doing was any good. Couple that with a personal life full of anxieties and depression and a good situation this does not make.

But I think it's safe to say things are looking pretty positive for the future. Got a new job, Got myself back working on music again, and more importantly, I feel more confident about it. I'm learning a bunch of new techniques and I feel like my audio production has gotten tons better. Still got a ways to go but I think I'm headed in the right direction.

Anyhow you guys aren't here for rambling, you guys are here for music! Carnival Cat has been one of my very favorite pony songs since it came out, and I've always thought it would be fun to do my own spin on it. I had originally just done the introduction as a bit of a warmup and practice thing but after I got some pretty positive responses from that I decided to just go for it and do the rest of the song. Really happy with how this one turned out and I'm super glad I'm finally back to work on music! You'll be hearing some more from me pretty soon, hopefully. Cheers!

Oh also go check out Sand Josieph's Youtube. He's a pretty sweet guy, who does a lot of broadway-esque type stuff. It's really cool, actually. Link is above.

Also the vector I used in the graphic above was pulled from a Google Image search. The artist of the original Carnival Cat graphic is Jave4824 on DeviantART, and you can find the original image here: www.deviantart.com/art... Sorry if I'm breaking any boundaries using the vector here, I did not ask for permission but I assumed since I'm not selling anything here it wouldn't be a problem. Jave if you see this and have an issue with me using your graphic, send me a message on youtube and I'll have it replaced with another image. Cheers!
