UPDATE: This thing made EQD :D Music Of The Day Post #458: www.equestriadaily.com...

Hey guys, It's been awhile. I really wanted to write something nostalgic of the nature that was once truly alive and well here in the forest areas of southwest Michigan, instead of the oppressing battle of winter here in America. This is something more personal I wrote, and YES, it was most certainly inspired by Sad Machine. However I've been missing the old days of when something as beautiful and vast as nature, and the forest life here was alive. If you're from the east coast in America, you know this weather has been cold, disgusting, a piece of shit, and has put a burden on many of us if you're like me. Truly I've absolutely dreaded this week filled with bullshit and betrayal. This semester in school has also thrown my mind back and fourth, and I've had to spend a lot of time on school shit. So I wrote something to be reminiscent of that, because I simply miss it, and I'm sick of having to look toward people to make me happier. I truly, honestly miss the comfort of nature, and I'm absolutely done having to look towards people for comfort in difficult times, often not the most reliable. It's not the same like the present nature that represents this song once was. Not by a long shot. Spring is coming however, not quickly, slowly but surely.
