Sorry for the reupload. It just bugged me that I shot this in 720p and you weren't able to watch it in that resolution because I exported it in the wrong size. Big derp on my part. I do appreciate the kind comments everyone left me on the other vid.

This is my personal take on Daniel Ingram's Love is in Bloom. This isn't a straight cover by any means. I wanted to add more to it since the original wasn't long or real complicated. That's why it starts out differently and takes a new direction in the middle.

I decided to make a video of me playing instead of having a still image because I wanted to challenge myself to play the entire song in one take and show that I could do it. The musicians I follow make videos like this, so I figured why couldn't I? I also thought it would give a chance for people to see someone playing an actual instrument for a change, because let's face it, there aren't many videos in this community showing the musicians playing their songs. Granted, it's difficult for most, but I'd like to try to bring something new-ish to the table.

I know I'm going to get asked some questions about the tuning and such so here's some info. This was played in Open D (DADF#AD) with a capo on the 4th fret, so that makes the key of this song F# Major. It took me a while to get used to the new chord shapes and scales, but I managed to figure it out and may try this tuning in future songs. I think Mr. Ingram uses alternate tunings like this for the guitars tracks in the show anyway, so should be easier to figure out some solo arrangements of his songs using alternate tunings.

Here are some of the chord shapes I used:
D - 000000 & 000304
A - X02342
Em - 220100
Bm - X20000 (sometimes X20020 and X2024
