I decided that this will be my last My Little Pony remix until Season 2 gets going. I wont be remixing every track from Season 2 like I'm sure some artists will, however Daniel Ingram's stuff is very awesome, and I'm sure that there'll be some songs that I'll want to remix. ;)

Before I go any further I need to credit a couple people for there contributions to this track, both directly and indirectly. First up is David Larsen, who allowed me to use about 4 bars of his Giggle at the Ghosties piano cover, which I think really adds to the song. Go check out his stuff (if you haven't already), it's all amazing.

Secondly, I need to throw in a special thanks to PinkiePieSwear who (in his remix of Giggle at the Ghosties) found a clever way to loop Pinkie Pie's chorus section, and had I not found out how to do that, then this track may not have happened.

Alright, the thanks are out of the way, let's get down to the technical stuff behind this track. When I decided to do a remix of Giggle at the Ghosties I wanted to make sure that mine was different than any others that had come out. It's the first song from the series, and I think it's probably the most remixed/covered song from Season 1(though I don't have any evidence to back that up).

So in my quest to do something different I decided that rather then just use some basic synths as the underlying structure, I'd go out and find some cool samples that worked with the chords of the song. You can hear these most clearly at the beginning and near the end. I probably had to sift through 20+ tracks until I got that 8 bar loop to sound good, but I think it was worth it. It gives the song a very different feel. Plus the bass that it adds really gives this it's own groove.

Since the beginning of production on this track I've been trying to shoot for a house/club type vibe, hopefully that comes across in the final product, and I hope you enjoy.
