As for this song specifically, it's a pony song, and it's a type of fanfiction in a way. We don't have much background as to where the Elements of Harmony originated, and this leaves a lot of room to develop theories. This song is about my theory... That Celestia was surrounded with five partners, all of which she lost due to her immortality. She watched the world burn to ashes, as she stood unable to die.
