The uptown girl's upper crust visage faltered as she stiffened her upper lip. The on-again, off-again dynamic of a most improbable relationship had weighed on her once formidable conscious as, backed into a vulnerable corner of her mind, she contemplated how it got to this point. Not very long ago, those with her particular predilection would have been called "insane" by peers and professionals alike. It was only now, as she picked up the phone to dial that familiar number, she was finally starting to believe it.

Sorry this came so late after the rest of the album, folks. Part of it was a matter of personal and professional obligations getting in the way. But I also wanted to distance this single's release from the album at large to let is speak on its own merits. The song deals with some themes that are a little personal, but I hope it resonates with all of you as an anthem illustrating the difficulties inherent in confronting deeply repressed feelings.

With that said, Eile and I are happy to present this collaboration to you! And what a performance she delivered! It was an absolute pleasure and honor to have her onboard for this project, demonstrating a power and range I still believe is unmatched in this community and well beyond it.
