This song was difficult to make. Not because it's complicated, but because I had to try a lot of stuff to be completely satisfied with the result. This is what I came up with, and I can honestly say that I'm proud of it.

The story of how I wrote it is kind of funny. It all started with

then I made up a whole story: Applejack going out of the farm for a walk. Birds tweeting and wind blowing. Galloping. Faster and faster. Freedom. Calm. Crickets. Sleep.

That's basically what happened in my head, and what made me make this song. But it all started with that beautiful image, and I couldn't be more thankful.
