I guess you can call this the... sequel? of Button's Mom? idklol. I just felt like I had to upload SOMETHING so I tried to do something completely different. I've never tried anything close to this kind of vocal before, so I had to be careful not to mess my voice up at all.

FAQ:

Q: What did you use for guitar/drums/etc?
A: I used the original multitrack to Metallica's "Seek and Destroy."

Q: Can I have the multitrack?
A: Sorry, but no. Find it yourself since I don't want to be responsible for distributing the raw, copyrighted instrumental.

Q: What do you use to record your vocals?
A: Blue Snowball iCE, and then a bunch of processing on my voice for this particular song. Long story short, I need to get a better mic.

Q: Who else worked on the vocals with you? I hear multiple voices.
A: I did the whole thing by myself. I double tracked the vocals (or at least, attempted to) to make them sound a bit thicker, and then I shouted some parts in a slightly different voice to give certain words a bit of emphasis and variation.

Q: Why are the lyrics what they are?
A: When I create the lyrics for a parody, the first thing I do is listen to the original song and look at its lyrics and try to analyze their rhyming scheme. I then use a rhyming dictionary and look up additional rhymes for different words that could work with getting my own message out there. Unfortunately, some words only have one or two rhymes, so I'm forced to either use an indirect rhyme or change that section of the lyrics entirely. Also, keeping the number or syllables the same is a huge priority because I want it to conform to the original song's lyrics. If not, I'll only add one or remove one syllable. And often, all of that will take priority over getting a 100% perfect message out there. I'll occasionally use a metaphor that might not get the message across to everyone, but the words themselves will fit the rhyming scheme perfectly, and there may be no other reasonable way to make the lyrics work.

Q: How do you get the closed captioning to display the exact lyrics?
A: I created a .srt file which contains the lyrics. Look here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
Unfortunately, doing this is VERY tedious. I'm not sure if there's a program that will assist in creating the caption files.

Q: I don't agree with the message of your song.
A: Well, that's fine. Just... hush up, ok?

Q: Why did you roll that eyes at that solo?
A: Some people tell me he does something like that in EVERY song. It's still amazing, though.

Q: Why didn't you do a full band cover of this one and play each instrument yourself?
A:
1.) Unresponsive hi-hats on my Roland drum kit.
2.) Fake bass wouldn't work out too well.
