Ponies that take love, honesty and trust into account are all over Equestria. The ones that prefer lies, deceit and facade, either as a test of friendship or a way to entertain others - they deeply upset and ostracize the former.

On this yearly tradition, ponies may pretend that Spike squished Angel, or that Twilight's Element of Harmony was stolen by Crackle, or they may visit a safe haven up in the clouds, where they hold the day-long festival known as April Falls.

Because Philomena pretending she's actually turned to ashes for the fifth year in a row is starting to get old now anyway.
