A couple of firsts for me here - my first remix of actual Pony songs, and my first real attempt building a track around vocal samples. I originally set out to create a piece in the style of Burial, just using a few snippets of the vocals, but I just love the songs so much I used a lot more than I had planned.

The structure of the track is heavily influenced by (ripped-off from) Burial's tracks "Fostercare", though that track has a much darker feel, where as this I feel is more celebratory and brighter.

I used Reason 6.5 to do the majority of the track, plus Adobe Audition 1.5 to polish it off.
