As soon as I heard this cover, I ran off to grab BassBeastJD and Jastrian to help me create the first cover of this song xDD and WE HAVE SUCCEEDED MUHHAHA XDD FIRST TO COVER THE NEW SEASON 5 SONG XDD WHOOO It's such a beautiful song that I couldn't resist making a cover for it. BassBeastJD was able to create this amazing instrumental just by listening to a potato recording of it off of youtube, Jastrian did a wonderful job mixing it, and LovelyDragoness provided these amazing art pieces. I was expecting our cover to just get spotlight music, but instead....we got a solo post which is AMAZING. Not only that, we've also inspired a future cover contest that will be hosted by EQD which is just...OMG I CAN'T EVEN TYPE I'M SO EXCITED AND HAPPY. To those of you who read the description xD let me tell you a story. For this song, I did 6 retakes because I wanted it to be perfect. Reason why I kept on redoing it was because I was told I had to belt this song in order for it to sound amazing. After 4-5 attempts, I realized that I couldn't be something I'm not. I have a soft voice. I can't change that even though I tried to. So after recording 4 horrible version of this song where I tried to belt, I decided to do it my way. If you think about it, my situation was super ironic. This song is about telling the world that you're not perfect, but you should do you and people will appreciate you for it. So in the end, I decided to do that, and I'm very happy with how this song turned out! XDD hope you enjoyed my sappy story. Don't kill me.
