The story behind this song is kind of a sweet one: the Cake twins wake up in the middle of the night, frightened by nightmares or some scary sound they heard, so Pinkie stays up with them for a little while, comforting them until they fall asleep. It's something my parents used to do with me as a kid, so this song is pretty dear to me.
